Mission Gift Fair

Join us for our annual Mission Gift Fair on 24 November in the CLC right after worship. Last year everyone contributed more than $11,000 to numerous charities. Catalogues and order forms will be available to fill out or take home. The team will also mail catalogues to those unable to attend church in person. Donations to various missions will be accepted through the first couple weeks in December. Mark your calendars, and join us at the Mission Gift Fair.

The MGF is an annual event held each November/December benefitting local, national, and international projects for people and communities in need through “alternative gift giving”, such as school supplies, hunger relief, teacher training, medicine, honeybees, or livestock. Gifts assist individuals and families in our local community, nation, and places as diverse as India, Africa, and South America.  Donations can be self-initiated or made on behalf of friends, family, or loved ones. The Mission Gift Fair is a great way to share our abundance with those who are less fortunate. Let us love thy neighbor as Jesus did.

Have you felt like reaching out to others, but you don’t know how? There are local, national and global organizations that need your help. You would be loving your neighbor by providing them support. Our Mission Gift Fair will support the following missions:

  • Sharing and Caring (local food resource)

  • Backpack program (Holy Trinity’s support of Edwin’s Elementary School children in need)

  • Youth Village (local center for children and youth)

  • Calm House (home for displaced mothers and children)

  • Global Barnyard (ELCA global partnership to provide sustainable resources)

  • Project Promise (quilting)

  • ELCA Global Healthcare (health clinic, vaccinations and healthcare for children)

  • Destin Harvest (local food rescue and hunger relief center)

Please join us in a new way this year for our annual Mission Gift Fair. You may make your donations by mailing them or dropping them off at the church. Let’s end this challenging year by being a good neighbor and spreading God’s love to others.
