Ruth Circle meets today and the 1st Tuesday of each month at 9:30am for fun Bible study and great fellowship. Ruth Circle is intended for the non-working woman. We use the “Together Magazine” and “Gather Magazine” provided by the Lutheran ministry for Bible study on various topics. All ladies are invited to join us as we study God’s Word and grow closer together in Christian fellowship.

The Arts and Crafts group meets today and Wednesdays at 9:30am. Come join us for fun and fellowship as we create attractive items for donations that benefit various church programs and charities. This past year we have provided gifts for individuals in nursing homes and care centers.

Today at 5:30pm in the CLC we are hosting a soup and bread supper prior to our 6:30pm mid-week prayer service (and all Wednesdays during Lent except Ash Wednesday and Holy Week). As we journey to the Cross during this season of Lent, let us once again come together for fellowship before we gather for worship. You do not need to bring anything. However, if you would like to bring a favorite pot of soup, contact Rebecca H. so we can plan accordingly. Come join us for soup, fellowship, reflection, and inspiration.

Join us for another awesome lunch and game day at 2pm as we play bunko, an easy-to-learn dice game. The cost is $15 per person and includes food, drinks, dessert, and a great time of fellowship and fun. The sign-up sheet is located in the CLC, or contact Waldi. All proceeds go to the church general fund.

Our monthly food drive for Sharing & Caring, our community food bank, is held the first Sunday of every month.  Bring canned and non-perishable food products to the lobby of Christian Life Center and place them on the collection cart.  There is also a need for baby formula, toothpaste, shampoo, bar soap, and laundry detergent.

Today we celebrate Palm Sunday. Christians throughout the world observe Palm Sunday, also known as Passion Sunday. This day inaugurates the most important week of the Christian year, beginning with Jesus’ glorious entry into Jerusalem and ending with his crucifixion and death. Palm Sunday commemorates Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, as crowds gathered around him waving palms and shouting “Hosanna!”

This morning at 9:30am in the Sanctuary we celebrate Palm Sunday with a worship service and Holy Communion. Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week.
